Staplehurst Arts Festival 2009

Staplehurst Arts Festivla logoStaplehurst Arts Festival 2009 was a fantastic weekend filled with activities, workshops and exhibits, in celebration of creativity in the Kent village of Staplehurst.

Staplehurst Arts Festival's ethos lies in celebrating creativity in the community, and making artistic and creative endeavours freely available to all.

The 2009 festival featured a variety of new exhibits and performances never seen before at the festival, ranging across all media and genres - from painting to needlework; from creative writing to film & animation; all creative ideas are welcome at Staplehurst Arts Festival.

The first Staplehurst Arts festival was held in 2007, with over 450 people attending and enjoying the huge variety of creative talent in the village. The 2009 festival was a great follow on and another sucessful event, with the Poppy theme raising money for the Royal British Legion.
